Phnom penh: Cambodia’s men’s national volleyball team has advanced to the final of the 6th SEA V-Cup after defeating Thailand in the semi-finals of the regional tournament being held in the Philippines from July 15 to 19.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Cambodia secured a 3-1 victory (25-21, 16-25, 25-23, 25-17) over Thailand in the semi-final held on Saturday afternoon. The Kingdom is set to face defending champion Indonesia in the final on July 19 at Candon City Arena.

The result marks another milestone for Cambodian volleyball and reflects the country's progress in developing its sporting capacity. In the 2025 edition, Cambodia finished fifth, while Indonesia claimed the title. Formerly known as the SEA V-League, the regional tournament has been renamed the SEA V-Cup beginning with this year's edition.
