Kampong speu: Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service, H.E. Hun Many, led a delegation today to meet and provide support to 728 military families stationed along the border in Kampong Speu province.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the delegation included Kampong Speu Governor H.E. Dr. Cheam Chansophorn and other provincial leaders, reaffirming the Royal Government's commitment to the welfare of military personnel and their families. During his visit, Hun Many conveyed greetings from top national leaders, highlighting the investment of the nation's leadership in the well-being of the military families serving at the border.
In his address, H.E. Hun Many underscored the importance of national unity and public trust in the Royal Government of Cambodia to safeguard the country's peace and territorial integrity. He urged the armed forces to remain resolute and resilient amidst ongoing challenges, including alleged incursions by Thai forces. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the Royal Government's comprehensive strategy, which involves managing military, diplomatic, and public opinion fronts to protect Cambodia's sovereignty.
H.E. Hun Many also urged Royal Government officials and citizens to monitor the Cambodia-Thailand border situation closely and to support the government's peaceful, diplomatic approach. "The strength and voice of national unity are a powerful force supporting the Royal Government's focus on peaceful resolutions," he stated. He emphasized that the collective resolve of the people must align with the government's commitment to diplomacy and peaceful solutions.
The visit served both to honour the service of the armed forces and to reinforce public confidence in the Royal Government's leadership during challenging times.
