Progress of Cambodia-India Tourism Projects Reviewed

Phnom Penh:The Ministry of Tourism and the Embassy of India in Cambodia have assessed the progress of three Quick Impact Projects designed to develop ecotourism communities and discussed plans to enhance bilateral tourism cooperation in the upcoming year.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the evaluation was conducted during a meeting on October 9 between H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, and H.E. Vanlalvawna Bawitlung, Indian Ambassador to Cambodia, at the Ministry of Tourism.

During the meeting, the Indian Ambassador reiterated the Indian government's ongoing support for the successful completion of the projects within the QIPs framework, which focuses on developing ecotourism communities in Cambodia.

H.E. Huot Hak expressed gratitude to the Indian government and people for their continued support in various sectors, especially tourism and ecotourism development.

The three projects include the enhancement of ecotourism activities in the Phat Sanday Ecotourism Community in Kampong Thom province, improvements in the Toul Poan Tali Boeung Sneah Community in Prey Veng province, and the development of a mobile application to promote tourism and ecotourism communities.

The mobile application aims to showcase tourism destinations and products offered by ecotourism communities across Cambodia under the Ministry of Tourism's management.
