RCAF Commander Receives Outgoing Philippine Military Attaché to Cambodia

Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) received here yesterday farewell courtesy call from outgoing Philippine Defence and Armed Forces Attaché to Cambodia Colonel Jose J Zuniga.

The commander-in-chief H.E. Gen. Vong Pisen expressed his deep appreciation of the diplomatic mission of Colonel Jose J Zuniga in Cambodia.

The mission, he added, significantly contributes to enhancing the cooperation between the two countries’ military sector, especially in terms of information exchange and capacity building

Colonel Jose J Zuniga thanked the commander-in-chief as well as Cambodia at large for the support for him during his tenure.

The milestone outcomes of his mission in Cambodia include the signing of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between both countries’ defence ministries in 2016 that paves the way closer cooperation and coordination.

Taking the opportunity, H.E. Gen. Vong Pisen expressed his condolences for the loss of the Filipino lives due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
