Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet to Attend Board of Peace’s Inaugural Meeting in U.S. and Visit Europe

Washington: Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will lead a high-level delegation to attend the Inaugural Meeting of the Board of Peace, scheduled for February 19, 2026, at the Donald J. Trump U.S. Institute of Peace in Washington, D.C., United States.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation this morning stated that the meeting marks the formal commencement of the Board's mandate. This initiative follows the Resolution of the United Nations Security Council adopted on November 17, 2025, which focuses on promoting peace and supporting reconstruction efforts in Gaza.

The meeting will also serve as a platform for participating leaders to engage in discussions on regional and global peace, stability, and development.

During his visit to Washington, D.C., the Prime Minister is expected to hold bilateral meetings with U.S. dignitaries and leaders from other countries to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across multiple sectors.

Furthermore, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet plans to conduct a working visit to Europe, including stops in Geneva and Brussels. There, he aims to meet with prominent leaders and key stakeholders to further enhance partnerships and collaboration.
