Phnom penh: The National Committee for Disaster Management (NCDM) organized a ceremony to hand over and receive the second batch of humanitarian assistance from the Government of the People's Republic of China. This aid aims to support displaced people along the Cambodia-Thailand border.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the humanitarian supplies will be arranged by the NCDM for transportation to safety centers in affected provinces. This ensures timely assistance to displaced families living along the border areas.
It is recalled that the first batch of humanitarian aid arrived in Cambodia on December 28, 2025. This continued support once again demonstrates China's role as Cambodia's 'ironclad friend,' reaffirming its commitment to assisting Cambodia in maintaining stability, promoting development, and supporting recovery efforts during this difficult period.
