Phnom penh: The National Television of Cambodia (TVK) will broadcast live the opening session of the first meeting of the Conciliation Commission under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) between Cambodia and Thailand from Singapore, giving the public direct access to the proceedings.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the Ministry of Information announced that the live broadcast would commence at 7:30 a.m. Cambodia time on September 15, offering audiences the chance to tune in 30 minutes before the official opening statements by the representatives of both countries. This opening session will be accessible to the public and webcast in Khmer, English, and Thai, allowing both Cambodian and international viewers to follow the proceedings in their preferred language.
The Cambodian delegation will have its opening statement delivered by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E. Prak Sokhonn, who will be acting as Cambodia's Agent during the meeting. Additionally, the Ministry of Information has provided approval for other television stations and media outlets to rebroadcast the proceedings from TVK, as stated in their notice dated September 13.
For ease of access, the public can also follow the live session through official online webcasts available in the three languages. The Khmer-language webcast can be accessed at the English-language webcast at and the Thai-language webcast at as shared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on Sunday evening.
The UNCLOS conciliation meeting, hosted in Singapore, will take place from September 14 to 16, 2026. The Ministry of Information has urged both national and international journalists, along with the general public, to take note of the live broadcast arrangements and to follow the proceedings via TVK and the official webcasts.
