Waste Disposal Monitoring Devices Installed at Cambodia’s Factories

Five factories and enterprises have so far been equipped with automatic monitoring equipment and data management systems for waste disposal for pollution reduction, while 10 others are in the pipeline. According to H.E. Khvay Atitya, Spokesperson at the Ministry of Environment, the 15 factories and enterprises are operating laundry, drying, and semi-finished pharmaceutical products located in Phnom Penh capital and the provinces of Svay Rieng, Kandal, and Battambang. The Ministry of Environment plans to install the device at 122 factories and enterprises in Cambodia. The installation of the waste disposal automatic monitoring equipment and data management devices will cost-efficiently contribute to addressing pollution, especially in cities in Cambodia.
