Phnom penh: The Ministry of Women's Affairs will officially launch the Women's Economic and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (WEE-DC) on Dec. 3, which will play an important role in strengthening women's capital for Cambodia's national economic development. The official inauguration ceremony will be presided over by First Lady Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, the ministry said in a statement.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the landmark event will bring together approximately 1,500 participants, including senior government leaders, representatives from ministries and institutions, diplomatic missions, development partners, the private sector, civil society organisations, women entrepreneurs, provincial departments of women's affairs, Women Development Centres, and other stakeholders.
