World Vision and Smart Axiata Collaborate to Rebuild Homes for Conflict-Displaced Families

Phnom penh: World Vision Cambodia and Smart Axiata are working together on a project to rebuild homes for families displaced by conflict. The initiative not only focuses on infrastructure rehabilitation but also on developing youth leadership within displacement camps.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, representatives from World Vision met with Smart Axiata's board of trustees to review the progress of the housing project. This initiative is aimed at communities still recovering from the effects of Thai incursions.

The partnership extends beyond physical reconstruction by emphasizing the need for long-term community resilience. This is being achieved by equipping displaced youth with leadership skills to manage local support initiatives within the camps.

World Vision officials have expressed their gratitude for Smart Axiata's continued investment in recovery efforts. They emphasized that the collaboration is crucial for restoring stability and hope to families affected by the conflict.
