Serei saophoan: The ASEAN Observer Team (AOT) has been briefed on the progress of border post marking between posts 52-59 situated in Kamrieng commune and Boeung Raing commune, Kamrieng district, Battambang province, as stated by H.E. Lt. Gen. Maly Socheata, Spokeswoman of the Ministry of National Defence.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the progress of the survey and marking of the temporary border between border posts No. 52-59 in Kamrieng district, Battambang province, opposite Pong Nam Ron district, Chanthaburi province, was presented for the AOT. From Nov. 27 to Dec. 3, 2025, the Joint Survey Teams of both sides conducted aerial photography using drones to create a photomap between border posts No. 52-59, covering approximately 6.4 kilometres, equivalent to about 76 percent of the total work.
It is worth noting that from Nov. 8 to 26, 2025, the Joint Survey Teams of both sides conducted ground work on the border section between border pillars No. 52-59, which is approximately 8.3 kilometres long. The team completed the survey work and emplaced 166 temporary border markers on the actual ground.
