Cambodia and South Korea to Enhance Strategic Partnership

Phnom Penh:Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of Cambodia, has extended congratulations to the National Assembly and the people of the Republic of Korea on the occasion of the National Foundation Day of South Korea.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, in his message to H.E. Cho Jeong-sik, Speaker of South Korea's National Assembly, Hun Sen praised South Korea's development as a leader in industry, science, technology, innovation, and medicine. He noted that this progress has significantly benefited not only Korea but also the broader region.

Hun Sen emphasized Cambodia's commitment to fostering mutually beneficial relations and enhancing the Strategic Partnership between Cambodia and South Korea for the benefit of both nations' peoples.

As the 30th anniversary of the re-establishment of diplomatic relations approaches in 2027, Hun Sen expressed his dedication to strengthening parliamentary ties, both bilaterally and multilaterally, to promote peace, stability, and development in the region. He concluded by wishing Cho Jeong-sik good health and success, and prosperity for the people of South Korea.
