Projections suggest that by 2050, approximately 15.5 percent of the population will be under 15 years o ld, 67.5 percent will be between 15 and 64, and around 17.1 percent will be aged 65 and above. The elderly population is expected to surpass the younger population after 2050, which could lead to potential labour shortages.
