Cambodia Reaffirms Unwavering Commitment to International Law and UN Charter

New york: H.E. Ambassador Keo Chhea, Permanent Representative of Cambodia to the United Nations (UN), has reaffirmed Cambodia's unwavering commitment to international law and the UN Charter. He made this reaffirmation in his statement at the 'High-level Plenary Meeting to Commemorate the 65th Anniversary of the Declaration of the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples,' held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, at the aforementioned meeting, H.E. Keo Chhea reiterated Cambodia's position to strictly adhere to international law and the Charter of the United Nations. He emphasized the importance of upholding the peaceful settlement of disputes and respecting territorial integrity and national sovereignty. These commitments, he noted, are not only foundational to Cambodia's national development but also essential to the collective pursuit of peace and justice among nations.
