Varna:Cambodian Ambassador to Bulgaria H.E. Chea Chanboribo engaged with officials and industry leaders to enhance cooperation in tourism, culture, and education.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, during the World Tourism Day celebrations in Varna, Ambassador Dr. Chea Chanboribo met with Bulgarian Minister of Tourism Dr. Ilin Dimitrov. They discussed strategies for tourism development and strengthening bilateral relations, exchanging greetings between Cambodian Minister of Tourism H.E. Huot Hak and Dr. Dimitrov.
Ambassador Dr. Chea Chanboribo also collaborated with the Bulgarian Tourism Association to explore new cooperative frameworks. Both parties committed to promoting Cambodian travel destinations and developing specialized tour packages for the Bulgarian market.
The Cambodian Embassy's efforts have led to increased promotion of Cambodian tour packages and a growing market presence in Bulgaria through 2025 and 2026, reflecting rising interest in Cambodia€™s cultural and historical sites.
Moreover, Bulgarian higher education institutions specializing in tourism invited the Ambassador to lecture on Cambodia€™s history and tourism, aiming to enhance youth engagement and foster people-to-people exchanges. This initiative underscores the Cambodian Embassy's dedication to advancing diplomatic relations with Bulgaria.
