Cambodian Female Leader Distributes Aid to Displaced Families and Troops in Pursat

Pursat: Samdech Kitti Sangahapundit Men Sam An, Member of the Supreme Privy Council to His Majesty the King, led a humanitarian mission on Saturday to provide essential supplies to 508 families of frontline soldiers and displaced persons in Pursat province. The delegation, representing the Cambodian Women's Association for Peace and Development and the Solidarity Front for the Development of the Cambodian Motherland, arrived in the northwestern province amid ongoing efforts to support those affected by the recent Thai incursion.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Samdech Men Sam An addressed the gathered families, delivering messages of solidarity from Cambodia's top leadership, including Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen; Cambodian Red Cross President Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen; Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet and the First Lady Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony. She emphasized the importance of national unity and steadfast support for the frontline troops defending the country's territorial integrity, encouraging trust in the leadership to achieve a ceasefire and lasting peace.

The distribution was facilitated through a public-private partnership involving provincial authorities and several high-profile philanthropists and business leaders. Samdech Men Sam An expressed formal gratitude to Pursat Governor H.E. Khoy Rida, as well as prominent donors and representatives from the local business community for their contributions to the support effort. Each of the 508 families received a comprehensive aid package designed to meet immediate nutritional and hygiene needs.
