Cambodia: Cambodian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries H.E. Dith Tina and Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Wang Wenbin inspected the construction progress of a China-assisted animal health laboratory at the Sithbo National Agriculture Laboratory in Kandal province on Wednesday. The project, supported by China-Aid funding, aims to enhance Cambodia's agricultural sector through modernised infrastructure and advanced testing equipment.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the project includes the building of the animal health laboratory and the installation of state-of-the-art testing equipment. During their visit, Minister Dith Tina and Ambassador Wang were briefed on the project's achievements, including milestones reached and the technical capabilities of the equipment being installed.
The initiative underscores the strong partnership and cooperation between Cambodia and China, focusing on modernising Cambodia's agricultural sector and improving its livestock research capabilities.
