Phnom penh: His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, has sent a congratulatory message to Iraqi President H.E. Nizar Mohammed Saeed Amidi on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of Iraq's Republic Day, expressing optimism for stronger bilateral ties.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, in the official letter dated July 10, King Sihamoni extended his "warm felicitations and best wishes" for the Iraqi president's success, as well as for lasting peace, continued progress, and prosperity for the people of Iraq.
The Cambodian monarch also expressed confidence that the friendly relations and cooperation between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Republic of Iraq will continue to develop in the years ahead, advancing shared interests and contributing to the well-being of both peoples.
