Cambodian Prime Minister and Myanmar Political Leader Discuss Strengthening Cooperation

Phnom penh: Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received H.E. U Khin Yi, Chairman of the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) of Myanmar, in a courtesy call at the Peace Palace this morning.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, H.E. U Khin Yi expressed his pleasure in paying another visit to Cambodia. He praised the leadership of Samdech Thipadei, describing him as a leader of ability and knowledge, with extensive experience in the military sector. The main purpose of his visit was to strengthen cooperation between the USDP and the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), particularly in the areas of youth and women's engagement, as well as media collaboration.

In response, Samdech Thipadei warmly welcomed H.E. U Khin Yi and his delegation, expressing satisfaction with the progress of relations between the two parties. He encouraged the continued strengthening of both state-to-state and party-to-party cooperation, especially in fostering closer ties among the youth of both nations.
