Cambodia: Cambodia's First Vice-President of the Senate, Ouch Borith, on Friday urged the public to maintain confidence in the Royal Government's leadership as it works to protect national sovereignty and resolve border issues with Thailand peacefully.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, H.E. Ouch Borith made these remarks during a visit to displaced families in Kampong Cham province. He emphasized that the Royal Government, under the leadership of Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, is taking measures in line with international law, the United Nations Charter, and ASEAN principles to safeguard territorial integrity and ensure long-term peace and development.
During the visit, H.E. Ouch Borith led a Senate delegation to Srey Santhor district, where assistance was distributed to 353 displaced families, including four pregnant women and nearly 300 schoolchildren, on behalf of Senate President Samdech Techo Hun Sen.
He also conveyed messages of concern from key leaders, including Samdech Techo Hun Sen, his spouse Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen, Prime Minister Hun Manet, and his spouse Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, to frontline soldiers stationed along the border and to displaced civilians sheltering in the district.
H.E. Ouch Borith further stated that Cambodia's leaders are closely monitoring the welfare of soldiers, their families, and citizens nationwide. He called on displaced residents to place their trust in the Royal Government's ongoing support.
