Minister of Information Says Civilian Death Toll Increases to 15

Phnom penh: As of 2:00 p.m. today, the Thai military's aggression against Cambodian territory, including attacks targeting civilians, has resulted in the deaths of 15 civilians and injuries to many others, said Minister of Information H.E. Neth Pheaktra.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the Minister added that the number of displaced people has risen sharply to 409,293. He further stated that Thai forces continue to carry out aggressive military operations against Cambodia using multiple branches of their armed forces, including ground, air, and naval units.

These attacks have been conducted indiscriminately, targeting civilian infrastructure such as residential areas, administrative buildings, pagodas, schools, ancient temples, bridges, and roads.
