Phnom penh: The Ministry of Health (MoH) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen a resilient and inclusive healthcare system in Cambodia.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the MoU signing ceremony was observed by H.E. Prof. Chheang Ra, Minister of Health, along with UN Assistant Secretary-General and Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific, Mrs. Kanni Wignaraja. The Minister acknowledged UNDP's technical and financial support, expressing gratitude for its consistent partnership in advancing Cambodia's health sector toward sustainability and equity.
Mrs. Kanni Wignaraja noted that the MoU aims to modernize the health sector through digital innovation and establish a sustainable health financing system, marking a significant step forward for Cambodia's healthcare development.
