Cambodian Prime Minister and CEO of Saudi Fund for Development have supported the financial assistance plan for the Royal Government of Cambodia, especially for agriculture and physical infrastructure development.
The support was shown in a meeting between Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and H.E. Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this afternoon, on the sidelines of the ASEAN-Gulf Cooperation Council Summit.
Samdech Thipadei invited H.E. Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad to pay a visit to Cambodia to continue to discuss this issue with Cambodian relevant ministries and institutions.
The Cambodian Premier also mentioned the potential for cooperation between the two countries’ governments in the areas of investment, tourism and renewable energy, mainly agriculture.
For his part, H.E. Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad expressed his congratulations to Samdech Thipadei on the assumption of his office as the Prime Minister of Cambodia, and informed him of the Saudi Fund for Development, saying that it has always contributed to the promotion of sustainable growth of developing countries, paricularly in the areas of education and sports, health, and transport.
