Senate President Highlights Robust Cambodia-Vietnam Relations

Phnom penh: Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, has spoken highly of the bilateral relations and cooperation between Cambodia and Vietnam and reaffirmed Cambodia's commitment to further strengthening their partnership.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Hun Sen expressed his delight in the excellent relations and comprehensive cooperation enjoyed by Cambodia and Vietnam. He attributed this success to the continuous commitment of the leaders of both nations to enhance friendship and win-win cooperation. In a letter dated November 20, responding to a congratulatory message from H.E. Tran Thanh Man, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Hun Sen expressed confidence that through joint efforts, the two countries will thrive together in all areas of cooperation.

Hun Sen also reiterated his commitment to working closely with H.E. Tran Thanh Man to further foster cooperation between the legislative bodies, both bilaterally and multilaterally. He emphasized the importance of deepening the existing excellent relations under the spirit of "good neighborliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation and long-term stability."
