Thai Forces Launch New Wave of Airstrikes and Shelling Across Border Provinces

Phnom penh: Thai military F-16 fighter jets continued to bombard Cambodian territory this afternoon, according to a report from the Ministry of National Defence. Between 2:30 p.m. and 3:10 p.m., Thai F-16s dropped six bombs in the Kaul 8 area of Sa-em commune, Choam Khsant district, Preah Vihear province.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, shortly thereafter, at 3:25 p.m., Thai forces resumed heavy shelling, firing multiple rounds into Sangkat O'Chrov, Poipet city, Banteay Meanchey province. The Ministry emphasized that these actions constitute indiscriminate attacks by the Thai military and represent a serious violation of international humanitarian law.
