Sihanoukville: A foreign cruise ship named ZHAO SHANG YI DUN, carrying 266 tourists of 18 nationalities and 330 crew members, docked at the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port in Preah Sihanouk province this morning. The tourists and crew members were warmly welcomed upon their arrival by the management and staff of the Provincial Department of Tourism. They were informed about the primary tourism potential areas of the coastal province.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the China-flagged luxury cruise ship arrived from Vietnam and is scheduled to leave Cambodia for Thailand at 17:00 on the same day. ZHAO SHANG YI DUN has a length of 228.30 metres, a width of 28.80 metres, and a draft of 6.65 metres.
H.E. Mang Sineth, Governor of Preah Sihanouk province, recently stated, 'The arrival of international cruise ships demonstrates that Preah Sihanouk province and Cambodia as a whole remain peaceful, politically stable, and open for tourism and investment.'
