Cambodia Triumphs Over Bhutan with 4-0 Victory in Friendly Match

Phnom penh: Cambodia's national football team secured a 4-0 victory over Bhutan in an international friendly match held on June 4 at the National Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh. This win comes ahead of Cambodia's next friendly encounter against Hong Kong, scheduled for next week.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Cambodia took control of the match early, leading 2-0 at halftime before adding two more goals in the second half to seal the victory after 90 minutes of play. The national team is set to play its second international friendly against Hong Kong on June 9, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the National Olympic Stadium.

Following the two friendly matches, the Football Federation of Cambodia (FFC) announced that the Cambodian national squad will travel to Japan from July 14 to 21 for a training camp. This preparation is in anticipation of their participation in the HYUNDAI Cup, which will take place from late July through August 26, 2026.
